GLAD NEWS OF THE ROSE - IT’S A VERY BEAUTIFUL STORY OF A GOD-INSPIRED DESIRE TO SEEK THE WAY OF TRUTH-
A honorable man from İstanbul named Rum Yorgo Nikolav does everything for his stammerer son Peter, however he cannot find a remedy for his grief. His only hope rests for the marriage of his son. With this aim, an appropriate bride candidate is found and agreed on their marriage.

The day of the marriage comes. Yorgo Nikolav has various food cooked, delicious sherbets and desserts prepared for their guests.

For a while, the door is knocked. That is Miss Hatice, their neighboor. Husband of this blessed woman died cause of an accident and she became widow with her two children. That woman is not among the guests. She goes there only to want fire. They give her a shovel of coal.

The guests start to come severally, but Miss Hatice comes again before long and wants coal and gets again.

After all of the guests come, when the woman comes faintheartedly with the shovel in her hands, Yorgo says that “something is wrong with this” and to understand the reality follows the woman furtively and goes into the courtyard. Yorgo walks towards the house and is startled with the voice coming from the window.

Crying children tell about their sorrows and Miss Hatice answers despairingly “I cannot go once more. What can I do, they do not understand me, be patient. Tomorrow is Muslim Festival of Sacrifices and our muslim neigboors will bring meat to us.” , she says.

Yorgo comes back his home and getting his maid with him bring lots of food to the woman by saying “Please forvige us, we couldn’t give you a invitation, please accept this.” The man gives also money and says, “Tomorrow is your Festival, buy your children something with it.” and this makes them happy.

After Yorgo goes, this widow and the orphans prayes from the heart sincerely, “May Allah, my neighboor helps me in my trouble times, and bless them and give his son goodness My God!”

After twenty days pass, Hadji Ahmet Hodja from Kayseri comes to Yorgo’s house and tells of an event that he has;

“This year I am in Hajj (pilgrimage to Mecca), I drop a sleep cause of the tiredness and of hot after the prayer at Arafat, one day before the Festival. In my dream, I saw The Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h), he gives me your name and address. Then he gives his kind regards yo you. There sould be a deep meaning under this salam. Tell, for the sake of Allah, what a benefact do you do to gain God’s sake?”

After Yorgo listens to Hadji Ahmet in tears, he comprehends how his son overcome stammer gets the secret and confirms to the truth of The Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h) -a greatly respected and loved person, remedy for our pains- from his heart again and again.

A TRIAL FOR PROPHET IBRAHIM (ABRAHAM)

A TRIAL FOR PROPHET IBRAHIM (ABRAHAM)

Tomb of Prophet Ibrahim - in Kudus,Palestine

In a trial, Allah granted Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) -alaihissalam- a huge flock of sheep. Allah said to Archengel (leader of angels) Jibril -alaihissalam- : "Go to Ibrahim and see his generosity!"

The Archangel Jibril -alaihissalam- came to him "with a man appearance" and asked:

-Whose flock is this? Can you sell me one of them?

Ibrahim (a.s) answered:

-The flock belongs to my Lord. It has been given to me as a trust. If you mention His name (Allah), you can take one third of it; but if you mention His name three times, you can take all of it!

The Archengel Jibril (a.s) said:

- Glorified and beyond all shortcomings is our Lord, the Lord of all angels and of all souls.

Ibrahim (a.s) responded:

- Take the entire flock with you and go.

The Archangel Jibril (a.s) said in return:

- I am not a man, I am an angel. So I cannot take them.

Ibrahim (a.s) said:

- If you are an angel, I am the Khalil (i.e the intimate friend of Allah, choice man), so I cannot take back what I have given for His sake.

Ibrahim (a.s) sold the entire flock and spent the earnings in the path of Allah as charity.

Ibrahim alaihissalam was put through difficult trials in which he was tested with his life, his property, and his children. In each case, he maintained his loyalty and his submission to his Lord. Thus, he rose to the zenith of service to Allah. He abandoned form and climbed to the level of being Khalilullah, the intimate friend of Allah.

P.S. (a.s) : alaihissalam (salutation for him)

THE PROPHET MUHAMMAD'S (P.B.U.H) CONDUCT WITH PEOPLE

THE PROPHET MUHAMMAD'S (P.B.U.H) CONDUCT WITH PEOPLE

THE PROPHET MUHAMMAD'S (P.B.U.H) CONDUCT WITH PEOPLE

One of the companions of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon Him) Jabir Ibn Abdullah narrated,

"One day, people passed by carrying a corpse. The Messenger of Allah, Muhammad (p.b.u.h) stood up. We also did so.

Later, we said: 'O Messenger of Allah! It was the corpse of a Jew!'

He responded: 'IS HE NOT ALSO A HUMAN?' "

(Bukhâri,  Riqâq,26 ; Muslim,  Fadâil,17)

One day, the Messenger of Allah remembered a black slave and asked about him:

"What has happened to that person? I have not seen him for a while."

"He died, O Messenger of Allah." they responded.

The Prophet (p.b.u.h) reprimanded them:

"Why didn't you let me know?"

The companions then told Him what had happened to that slave. They had not considered the incident very important or thought it an unusual event. The Messenger of Allah said:

"Show me his grave!"

Then He went to his grave and prayed the funeral prayer.

(Bukhâri, Salât,72 ; Muslim, Janâiz,71 ; Abû Dâwûd, Janâiz,57 ; Ibn Mâjah, Janâiz,32 ; Ahmad Ibn Hanbal, al-Musnad, II, 353,388)

The Messenger of Allah never agreed with the abuse of slaves. He said that:

"Those who abuse their slaves cannot enter Paradise."

(Tirmidhî, Birr,29 ; Ibn Mâjah,Adab,10 ; Ahmad b. Hanbal, al-Musnad, I,7 ; Tabarânî, al-Mu'jam al-Awsat,IX, 124 ; Abû Ya'lâ, al-Musnad, I, 94)

The mercy of the Prophet (p.b.u.h) toward the slaves reached such a level that he refused to refer to them as "slave" or "maid", instead he advised and commanded Muslims to refer to them as "my son" or "my daughter".

(Bukhârî, Itk,17 ; Muslim, Alfaz, 13,15 ; Abû Dâwûd, Adab,75 ; Ahmad b. Hanbal, al-Musnad, II, 316,423)

SURAH MARYAM (MARY) 16-36. VERSES FROM THE HOLY QURAN

SURAH MARYAM (MARY) 16-36. VERSES FROM THE HOLY QURAN

16.
19:16
Sahih International

And mention, [O Muhammad], in the Book [the story of] Mary, when she withdrew from her family to a place toward the east.

17.
19:17
Sahih International

And she took, in seclusion from them, a screen. Then We sent to her Our Angel, and he represented himself to her as a well-proportioned man.

18.
19:18
Sahih International

She said, "Indeed, I seek refuge in the Most Merciful from you, [so leave me], if you should be fearing of Allah ."

19.
19:19
Sahih International

He said, "I am only the messenger of your Lord to give you [news of] a pure boy."

20.
19:20
Sahih International

She said, "How can I have a boy while no man has touched me and I have not been unchaste?"

21.
19:21
Sahih International

He said, "Thus [it will be]; your Lord says, 'It is easy for Me, and We will make him a sign to the people and a mercy from Us. And it is a matter [already] decreed.' "

22.
19:22
Sahih International

So she conceived him, and she withdrew with him to a remote place.

23.
19:23
Sahih International

And the pains of childbirth drove her to the trunk of a palm tree. She said, "Oh, I wish I had died before this and was in oblivion, forgotten!"

24.
19:24
Sahih International

But he called her from below her, "Do not grieve; your Lord has provided beneath you a stream.

25.
19:25
Sahih International

And shake toward you the trunk of the palm tree; it will drop upon you ripe, fresh dates.

26.
19:26
Sahih International

So eat and drink and be contented. And if you see from among humanity anyone, say, 'Indeed, I have vowed to the Most Merciful abstention, so I will not speak today to [any] man.' "

27.
19:27
Sahih International

Then she brought him(Jesus) to her people, carrying him. They said, "O Mary, you have certainly done a thing unprecedented."
19:28
Sahih International

"O sister of Aaron, your father was not a man of evil, nor was your mother unchaste."

29.
19:29
Sahih International

So she pointed to him. They said, "How can we speak to one who is in the cradle a child?"

30.

19:30
Sahih International

[Jesus] said (in the cradle), "Indeed, I am the servant of Allah. He has given me the Scripture and made me a prophet."

31.

19:31
Sahih International

"And He has made me blessed wherever I am and has enjoined upon me prayer and zakah as long as I remain alive."

32.

19:32
Sahih International

"And [made me] dutiful to my mother, and He has not made me a wretched tyrant."

33.

19:33
Sahih International

"And peace is on me the day I was born and the day I will die and the day I am raised alive."

34.

19:34
Sahih International

That is Jesus, the son of Mary - the word of truth about which they are in dispute.

35.

19:35
Sahih International

It is not [befitting] for Allah to take a son; exalted is He! When He decrees an affair, He only says to it, "Be," and it is.

36.

19:36
Sahih International

[Jesus said], "And indeed, Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him. That is a straight path."

P.S.  Our Christian friends, brothers, sisters! You read, this is the story of Mary and his son Prophet Jesus in the Holy Quran. Dou you understand why the Muslims love Mary and Jesus? Because Allah (The One God) loves them. Allah exalts them in His Last Book Quran. We love Jesus very much. But Allah says in the same Quran, "Say, [O Muhammad], 'If you should love Allah , then follow me, [so] Allah will love you and forgive you your sins. And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.' "(Surah Âl-i İmran, 3:31) So we love also Prophet Muhammad Besides Prophet Jesus.
